The map visualises the 445 records assembled in the geographical database of Iberian peatlands and swobs. Records were compiled from the literature and field surveys and provide a baseline for understanding the distribution of these ecosystems across the Iberian Peninsula.
The database expands earlier work mapping Iberian peatlands and assessing recent land-use and land-cover pressures around their known locations.
